Booker Vance is a New York based actor, writer and producer inspired to use storytelling to explore the unexamined narratives in his own community. He is a native of the southside of Chicago, Illinois which has a major influence on his work. His exposure to the pain and promise of the city sparked his desire to illustrate the texture and humanity of the people that inhabit the land.

He is a graduate of Morehouse College where he received his BA in Theatre & Performance with a concentration in Cinema, Television and Emerging Media Studies (CTEMS). Prior to graduating, he spent the summer at the University of Oxford studying with the British American Drama Academy. Upon graduating cum laude from Morehouse College, he moved up to New York to pursue his MFA in Acting at the New School of Drama, where he graduated in May of 2022.

When he is not onstage or onscreen, Booker is reading avidly, raiding arcades, cycling, rolling at the rink or searching the city for a new adventure.
